Star Wars: The Force Unleashed tells the story of Darth Vader’s secret apprentice, Starkiller, as he hunts down the Jedi remaining after Emperor Palpatine orders them killed. Set in the dark times between Episode III and Episode IV, the story explores the aftermath of the Great Jedi Purge as well as the rise of Darth Vader, leading into the Original Trilogy.

The game will be available on the following platforms- PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, Nintendo DS, second-generation N-Gage, and PS2.

Here’s a gameplay video of the upcoming action game- Prototype. It is being developed by Radical Entertainment. It is due for release in Q3 2008 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.

The player controls the character of amnesiac Alex Mercer in New York City, with freedom similar to that of the Grand Theft Auto series, in which the player can visit most locations and interact with the environment while not engaged in missions. Alex will clash with the military, the Black Watch Special Forces, and the Infected (the effects of a mutated viral epidemic) as he works to discover the secrets of his past. A key aspect of Prototype is the ‘disguise or destroy’ concept, which is tied to Alex’s enemy-consuming and shapeshifting powers. Alex can consume the bodies of those he has killed, which gives him access to their memories, their experiences, and their physical forms. Alex can also shapeshift into more specialized forms for attack, defense, or sensory enhancement.

Here’s a teaser trailer of the upcoming action game- Faith and a .45 developed by Deadline Games for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. Deadline claims that the game will emphasize on cinematic aspects surrounding the characters. Deadline calls the game a “gritty, emotional shooter”. The teaser trailer looks really awesome, let’s expect something big from the game. I hope that the game has a strong storyline to blend with the action.

Here’s the latest trailer of the gaame- Condemned 2: Bloodshot, an upcoming video game being developed by Monolith Productions and published by Sega. The trailer shows more in-game footage and the psychological profile of the main character- Ethan.

Condemned 2 begins about one year after the events that occurred in the previous installment, Condemned: Criminal Origins. The many strange and unexplainable things that happened to Ethan in the past have left him a desperate burnout, homeless, and a drunk. Killing about 200 people in the first game, Ethan is now prone to many more hallucinations and strange visions that are mostly made up in his mind.

The game will be released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Unfortunately there won’t be a pc version of the game. The game is scheduled to be out on February 26th.
