QuickPwn is more convenient because you do not need to make a full IPSW and use iTunes with it, but your phone still ends up pwned and jailbroken. The beta version of QuickPwn for Windows is available for download. Other platforms will also soon be supported. Currently QuickPwn requires your device to be running version 2.0.1 of the iPhone/iPod firmware. This requirement will change in a subsequent release.

In a statement, Bharti said that millions of Airtel subscribers will be able to purchase the iPhone at Airtel’s Relationship Centres from August 22. Oh boy! Give me a break. Unlocking iPhone 2.0 In Windows using Winpwn:
To start with, create a custom IPSW using the IPSW Builder.
Now Click “Ipwner” and browse for the custom IPSW that you just created. This will pwn iTunes and allow you to flash Custom IPSW files via DFU mode
Once you have pwned iTunes, put your phone into DFU mode. If you don’t know how to do this click Here.
Once you are in DFU mode Itunes will pop up and then you can hold Shift and click Restore and browse to your custom IPSW file.

NOTE: Make sure that you have removed Winpwn 1.0 completely if it was installed previously as installing over the top of WinPwn 1.0 will cause problems. You also need to download and install latest iTunes 7.7. For more info refer the official Winpwn site.

O2 seems to have lost the sheen it once had, thanks to the iPhone, but the Orbit 2 is a worthy inclusion in the list. The Orbit 2 serves to bring to the user a high level of features; 3Mpixel camera, fast processor, large RAM / ROM, GPS, Quad band, phone, Touch interface, etc. As HTC makes O2’s handsets, the Orbit 2 has similar features as the HTC Touch Diamond. It’s a bit bulky though when compared to the Diamond but should be good for the businessman on the move.

LG Viewty KE 990:
LG Viewty KE 990 is just simply awesome. The camera just keeps me drooling. It’s got a 5MP Schneider- Kreuznach camera which can record videos @ 120fps in DivX. It sports a 3” display, 256K touchscreen, 100 MB shared memory, microSD card slot, HSDPA 3.6 Mbps, etc. Internet browsing is blazing fast just like in Asus Lamborghini ZX1. The makers have mainly concentrated on the camera feature of this phone. Overall it’s an awesome phone, good for people interested in photography using their cell phones.

How to use it…?
To use Google Talk on your iPod or iTouch all you need to do is go to http://www.google.com/talk through Safari in your iPhone or iPod. This is a web app, hence you don’t need to download or install anything. You can login directly using that link and chat with your Google Talk contacts.

Downloading and installing the theme:
You can either download it to your desktop or use the OTA (Over the Air) method. For OTA, just follow the instructions when you get the email. If you use desktop installation, unzip the file, then open up the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and install the bPhone files you unzipped as a new application for your BlackBerry.

What hasn’t changed?
The iPhone look remains the same, no changes except the back. The 2.0 MP camera and the display hasn’t changed. WiFi is still 802.11b/g, no support for Wifi N yet.
Availability and pricing:
The iPhone is priced at $199 and $299 for the 8GB and 16GB editions respectively. The phone will be available in 22 countries (Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and the US) on July 11th. Remaining 48 countries will get it later this year. In addition to this you won’t be able to get one online or activate it online. If you want one then you gotta get it from a nearby store.

To start with all you need to do is first download and install the Simplify Media in your pc. Once you’re done, you can share your music libraries on iTunes and Winamp. You can set-up your account and share it with up to 30 friends. Since you can add up to 30 friends you can have access to a wide range of music.
Installing Simplify Media on you iPhone/ iPod:
1) First, install Simplify Media Mobile on your Apple iPhone/ iPod Touch using the AppTap Installer
2) Sign in with your Simplify Media screen name and password. If you don’t have a free account, download and install Simplify Media for your PC or Mac, and create one from your desktop.

Get it out of water:
First of all get it out of water as soon as possible. Well, if you are too late then it’s useless so you should be quick enough to remove it out.
Cut of the power supply:
The next thing is to switch off your phone. Cutting power to your phone is a crucial step in saving it. If there’s no power supply then many circuits inside will still be fine even though they are wet. If you go for switching it off by pressing the switch off button it will take time. So the best thing is to remove the battery so that it shuts down immediately.
Remove SIM and memory card:
Once the battery is removed, remove your SIM card, memory card. Well, SIM cards do survive water damage but to stay on the safer side it’s better to remove them immediately.
The drying process:
Now you can take your time to dry your phone. To start with you can shake it as much as possible so that the water comes off. Once you feel that you’re done, you can use a towel or paper towel to gently remove as much of the remaining water as possible.
Even after doing the above steps the cell phone isn’t dried up yet! Now you can use a vacuum cleaner to dry off the moisture. You can do this over affected areas for about 20-30 minutes. Make sure you avoid close contact of the phone with the vacuum. The main aim is to remove moisture from the phone and halt any oxidation from occurring deep inside, as it can result in functional issues later on.
After you’re done with the above, you can keep your phone in a bowl of uncooked rice over night. Bowl of rice? Well, don’t get surprised. Rice will absorb any remaining moisture in the phone.
Now use a tissue or a paper towel to check if there’s any moisture remaining in the phone. If you find that there’s some more moisture remaining then repeat the above process again.
Start the phone:
Once you’re sure that your phone is dry, connect the battery, SIM card and your memory card and start the phone. If it doesn’t start then remove the battery and connect it back again. If it still doesn’t work then there are chances that your battery is spoilt or some internal parts are damaged.
