New iPod Touch Pricing in India and Release Date

The new iPod touch will be available in India from October 12th and will be sold in three capacities- 8GB, 32GB and 64GB priced at Rs 13,500, Rs 19,900 and Rs 25,900 respectively. It will be available for purchase on the Apple store online or you can grab one from one of the Apple’s retail outlets or authorized dealers in India.

On further investigation I found out these websites are fake and you need to stay away from them. Don’t throw your $30 for some rubbish. The basebands 4.10.01, 2.10.04 and 3.10.01 are unlockable only with Gevey SIMs and not any other software. You may come across softwares like Fastra1n and Fastsn0w that claim to unlock and jailbreak any iOS version and basebands but they are fake! Softwares like Ultrasn0w are not capable of unlocking the following basebands.

When I visited unlock-the-iphone.com, I tried using the live chat box to chat with customer care which I thought was real. It was hilarious! It turned out to be a bot sending some random messages!

Fastunlockiphone.com uses ultrasn0w and redsn0w. The only difference is the UI is different. If you try to unlock those basebands that are not supported by Unltrasn0w then a box will popup saying, “Current Modem Firmware Version Not Supported”. But, the developers are smart! You also get a message stating that iOS 4.3.5 will be unlocked soon! Did you come across any other websites like these? The iPad will be available on March 11th on the Apple Store. There will be two versions- WiFi and the WiFi and 3G. The prices will be the same as the previous one. The WiFi version will cost $499, $599 and $699 for 16GB, 32GB and 64GB respectively. And, the 3G version is priced at $629 $729 and $829. Who knew that HP had a laptop that could stand up to the big gaming brandnames? The Dragon HDX gives a whole new meaning to ‘desktop replacement’–in fact, I’m not even sure it counts as a laptop, as ‘laptop’ generally indicates some amount of portability.

The HDX weighs in at an astounding 15.5 pounds and boasts a 20.1″ LCD display. If you’re looking for something you can fold up and take into a different room if needed, but that can be used sans an external display and hold its own against the bigger rigs, you may very well want to give the Dragon HDX a shot.
