We all love teddy’s but would you like one without a head? I don’t think so. Well, unfortunately here’s one without a head. Looks like it sacrificed its head for the sake of a lamp shade. Hmmm, looks weird! I would certainly not keep this thing in my room. If I keep this thing in my room I’m sure my little sister will try to separate it from the lamp which is even more disastrous. In addition to this some children will try to peep to what’s Mr. Teddy doing in there and they’ll be shocked to find its head missing.

I didn’t really like the description of the product, “The black fabric covered shade supplied is a reflective gold on the inside to enhance Teddy’s golden features and his plump body enables you to park him where you please without fear of him toppling over. Poor Ted may have lost his head, but he definitely lights up the room!”

Well, if you don’t care about the teddy’s head and you’re more bothered about the lamp then you can get one from here for $85. It would have been better if some other animal was used, maybe a Lion, camel or anything for that matter instead of our dearest Teddy.

It’s been a long time since I have blogged about free software licenses. I guess its perfect time to post a good promotion. Today, I came across an awesome promotion through which you can get 1 year PC Tools Internet Security 2009 license key. I’m pretty sure most of you have already heard of PC tools. Well, if you haven’t then you surely missing a great software in your favorite list.

PC Tools Internet Security 2009 is a comprehensive security suite that offers complete protection to your computer by combining PC Tools’ award winning Anti-Spyware, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam and Firewall protection into an all-in-one, easy-to-use product.

If you had to buy it would cost you $59.95 for 3 computer user license. But with this promotion, it’s absolutely free! In addition to this, it includes 12 months technical support. Ok, so let me cut it short and stick to the promotion, just follow the below instructions carefully to get your free 1 year PC Tools Internet Security 2009 license.

1. Firstly, go to http://defilter.co.uk/ web proxy page and enter the URL http://www.pctools.com/internet-security/free/promo/PCADVISOR0809/ in the bar where it says Web Address and click Go. (See above pic)

3. Now you need to fill a few details like your first name, last name, e-mail, address, city, country, zip, random code and most importantly the Promotion Code as jkm3cx and click on the Request Free License button. Make sure that you’re entering a working email address because the license key will be sent to the email you enter.

4. You’ll get a message saying, “Thank you for requesting your FREE license for Internet Security v2009, Your free license code will be e-mailed to you shortly.” Now, log into to your email and search for the email from PC Tools (sales@pctools.com) with the subject “Free Internet Security License”. Copy the name and license key to a notepad and keep the file safe so that you won’t lose it (you need to use it later to register your software).

5. Download latest PC Tools Internet Security 2009 from here and install it. The software runs perfectly on Windows Vista 32-bit, XP and 2000.

6. After installation, restart your computer, run PC Tools Internet Security 2009 and click on the Register button. Enter the name and license key that you saved earlier. That’s it, you have a fully registered version of PC Tools Internet Security 2009!

Why use proxy in Step 1?

If you’re from United Kingdom, you can directly access the promotion link without web proxy. But if you aren’t then you need to use web proxy as it checks the IP address and if you aren’t from UK, you’ll get an error saying “Please enter the full website address listed in your magazine or promotion”.

Like Zombies, chopped meat, blood and gore? Then here’s something of your interest. It’s a chopped hand and foot for your wrist to rest. Ewww… the moment I saw them I got goose bumps all over my body. I wonder how you reacted looking at them. Well, it might be a good thing to scare others but I don’t think it serves as a good wrist rest even though it’s soft. I just can’t imagine keeping my hand over them. Well, if you liked them you can get one set (Bloody Hand + Foot Wrist Rest) for $18 from here.

Ok, so if you have seen the chopped hand and foot I got something more to be added to the chopped meat category, a finger USB drive! It looks like it’s freshly cut and removed from the local morgue. The drive has a storage capacity of 1GB. If you liked it you can get one from here for $20. Each drive is pretested; you can just plug and use it, no drivers needed. Hmmm, looks like meat just got costlier!

Bathroom singers are you’ll listening? Well, here’s something of your interest. It’s a tap with a FM Radio! If you look at the tap you might find it pretty ordinary. Well, don’t forget that looks can be deceiving! The tap can be mounted on any bathroom slab. It’s water proof too despite of having a radio within it, you don’t have worry about water splashes.

The FM Radio tap has fairly intuitive controls. For instance, to turn the radio on or to turn up the volume, simply turn the tap handle clockwise and anti clockwise to reduce the volume and for switching it off. If you want to change the station, just press the button. Pretty simple isn’t it?

The tap is sure to get some visitors in your bathroom. If you liked it you can get one for under $20.

Well, don’t worry there’s a device which helps you to do the same. Using the iPod to iPod Transfer Device you can easily transfer music, video, and pictures from one iPod to another iPod without the use of a computer.

Mygazines is a website which allows users to read and share different magazines online. You can find various kinds of magazines on this site, any magazine for that matter, tech, sports, business, etc. All you need to do is just enter the magazine name in the search bar and a big list of magazines will appear. You can choose the one you like and read it online. You don’t need to register in order to read articles and magazines and the best part is that this service is absolutely free. Well, if you want to upload new mags you’ll need to create an account.

To turn pages you can simply click on the navigation button on the side. You can also use keyboard to turn pages. You can also read adult magazines but you need to change the family filter option which is enabled by default. To disable the option you need to create an account. Now don’t tell me that you’re lazy to create an account, after all registering doesn’t take time. Try out some magazines on Mygazines, they are pretty cool.

Like Gold? Well most of us do, even if we don’t we still desire for it simply because of its value. Nowadays we get to see a lot of gold plated gadgets, here’s one such. This time it’s a Gold plated keyboard manufactured by Wazakura Koubou, Japan. The keyboard comes with a two-port USB hub and the keys are apparently made from 99.99% pure gold.

Golden or gold plated gadgets usually look cool. But this one is probably one of the ugliest I’ve ever seen. Just look at those keys! Oh boy! They look like chocolates wrapped in wrappers. There’s hardly any design, this thing looks like an antic piece. Looks like Wazakura Koubou tried hard to come out with a golden gadget just like other manufacturers but simply failed.

Wazakura Koubou’s Gold Plated Keyboard is available in Japan for $270. Check out for more info over here(its in Japanese).

Sipping hot coffee? Wanna play tic tac toe? But, there’s no paper! Well, don’t worry you can now enjoy your favorite old classic tic tac toe game on your mug. On a mug? Yeah! Don’t get puzzled. Nowadays we get to see weird innovative designs and here’s one such- Write on Mugs. Hmm, looks like Stone Age is back where people used to write on stones but now it’s kind of modernized, we write on ceramic mugs. These mugs are imprinted with a game or numbered spaces for you to write on with a dry-erase pen which comes along with the mug. To erase you can simply wipe off.

The Write on Mugs are available in three imprints- Tic Tac Toe, Hangman and Things to do. Each mug is priced at $12.95. If you would like to get one then you can get it from catalogefavorites.

With internet threats increasing day by day, an antivirus becomes a necessity to defend our computers against threats. Unfortunately not all good antivirus softwares are available for free. So, if you want a good one you gotta pay for it. But sometimes if you’re lucky enough, you might get hold of some promotional offers through which you get free antivirus licenses. Last time I had posted about a Kaspersky 2009 IS offer which got over pretty quickly. Luckily I got my key before the offer expired. Now, here’s another offer, this time it’s AVG antivirus 8 six months license. Well, I don’t think I need to say much about AVG. We all know AVG for its great ability to defend viruses and other internet threats. Ok, so let me keep it short, here’s the promotion:

First download AVG Antivirus 8 from here and install it.

Use the following key to activate it.

75VNU-TH1RR1-L7-P03-C01-S3S9MD-2YN-3AUS

The above key will expire on December 1st, 2008. So, better apply it fast

NOTE: This license will also work on AVG Antivirus 7.5.

[via]

UV rays are really dangerous; not only can they give you terrible sunburns, but also lead to eye cataracts and skin cancers. Worried about increasing risk of skin cancer? Well, you don’t need to worry now; the Portable UV meter will protect you from harmful UV rays. It helps you to know how long it’s safe to stay in sun. It measures the strength of the sun’s UV rays, and lets you know how long you’re safe for, and gives you accurate temperature readings.

It’s just 8cm and weighs just 196grams. You can carry it wherever you go with ease. It’s priced at just £7.95. You can get one from here.

Sometimes when I go for a quick shower in the morning I don’t even see if the water is hot or cold. This reminds me of an incident, once it was winter and I ended up having a cold shower. Oh boy! That was really sick. Now, here’s something that would have helped me that day, a LED Shower Light.

The LED Shower Light has a unique feature. It not only lights up but also lets you know if the water is cold or hot. When you turn the shower on, the LED Shower Light lights up. If the water is cold it glows blue. When the water is hot and reaches above 32*C, it turns red. It doesn’t require any batteries to function; it’s powered by an internal turbine. The LED Shower Light is priced at around $40. You can get hold of one at Thinkgeek.
