Unfortunately due to server overload the site was down for two days. We are still unable to find the root cause of this problem. Previously this had happened when there was a Digg effect. But later we had moved to a new hosting service. For many months there weren’t any problems but all of a sudden this happened. We had three sites hosted on this server. Now we have moved the other sites to a different server.

I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Well it seems like the problem is solved for the time being. I hope this doesn’t happen in future.

Due to my busy schedule the posts too have dried up on BizzNtech, I’ll try to make up for it within a few days. You’ll see interesting topics rolling from Thursday onwards. So just hold on people. We need your support. Have a nice time. Cya.

Earnings:

My earnings weren’t really good in the last month as I concentrated more on the site design and the content. Unfortunately, WidgetBucks is now accepting clicks only from U.S and Canada but even though I’m getting good traffic from these two countries, the clicks on these ads is very low. Hence I decided to remove them. I got my Kontera account approved (contextual advertising) in the last month which added a new source of revenue to me. Here’s the breakdown of November months earnings:

Google Adsense: $100~
WidgetBucks: $16
Smorty: $6
Kontera: $25

Total: $150~

I’m really happy with the pace at which this blog is growing. Unfortunately the PR is still 0, I think it will take another 2-3 months for Google to update. Anyways let’s hope for something bigger next month.

Feeds:
The feeds have been pretty much fluctuating. The highest that I got was 120 feeds.

The Blog is growing at a good pace and I’m pretty much impressed with it. I had an expectation to get a PR by this update but unfortunately I wasn’t able to. But I’m pretty sure that I’ll get a very good PR in the next update. Unfortunately, Google doesn’t update PR every now and then. It will take around 4-5 months for next PR update. This is certainly bad for me.

Due to frequent problems with my previous hosting I moved to a new hosting last month- FastNext. This hosting is great and can handle Digg, stumbleupon and slashdot easily.

Earnings for October 2007:
The earnings were pretty ok for a start, here they are:
Google adsense: $74.90
WidgetBucks: $31.11
Smorty: $6

Total: $112.01

I have not put any other ad services, as I’m concentrating more on gaining good reputation so that’s pretty ok for a start and I’m sure I’ll improve on the above the coming month.

I’m really sorry for the downtime. No probs now on, I have moved to FastNext. It seems pretty good and fast too and can handle a website even if it’s slashdotted.
