How to Verify PayPal Account in India without Crebit Card?

If you are an Indian and you recently opened a PayPal account you may have noticed that you need to verify your account to take full advantage of PayPal and deal with various transactions online. But, to verify a PayPal account you need to have a Credit card. Well, when I had opened a PayPal account few years back I didn’t have a Credit card that time, hence I used a VCC- Virtual Credit Card.

VCC cards can be made using your debit cards as well. I used to make VCC’s and verify my account using them. Well, now you don’t need to go through all this confusion if you want to verify your PayPal account, you can verify your PayPal account using your bank account number. Here’s how you do it:

1. Firstly, Login into your PayPal account and then click on the ‘Get verified’ link.

2. Now, choose the ‘Link my Bank Account’ option in the left hand side box. If you have a credit card you can verify your account by clicking on the ‘Link my Card’ option on the right hand side.

3. Select ‘Start process to confirm bank account’ and get verified. PayPal will then send two small deposits to your bank account.

4. It may take about 5-6 days for the deposits to arrive in your bank account. Check your bank account statement in 5-6 days for the 2 deposits from PayPal. Log in to your PayPal account and enter the amounts to confirm your bank account.

5. Voila! You should now have your PayPal account verified.
