If you’re using Windows 7 you might have noticed that the taskbar has a Libraries icon. Clicking on this icon will take you to libraries but you won’t get into my computer. You might have also noticed that whenever you minimize a directory window, it lands over the Libraries icon.
So, the question is how to get My Computer Icon in Windows 7 Taskbar? It’s pretty simple; you can change the target from Libraries to My Computer. Here’s how you do it:

Right-click on the libraries icon in the taskbar then right click on the Windows Explorer icon.
In the Task List popup, right-click again on Windows Explorer and choose Properties

On the Shortcut tab, in the Target textbox, enter the following:
%windir%\explorer.exe ::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}
Once done, Click OK.
That’s it! Now, whenever you click on the libraries icon you should land up in My Computer.
