How to Protect a PC with Pen Drive

We all use pen drives for storing important data, pictures, songs, and several other things or maybe for ready boost in Vista. But there are several other uses of it which we still aren’t aware of. You can use a pen drive to lock and protect your computer.

There’s a small Windows app (just 700kb) known as Predator which helps you to lock and protect your PC when you are away. It uses a regular pen drive as an access control device. When the pen drive is removed from the pc, the pc gets locked. The keyboard and mouse will be disabled and the screen will darken. To unlock it you need to insert the same pen drive again. It’s as simple as starting a car, in fact even easier!

Rob Matthews Decided to Print Wikipedia!

Looks like Rob Matthews wanted to show how informative the internet is; hence he printed the stuff in Wikipedia! Oh well, he didn’t print the whole wiki but just the featured articles in wiki. The whole of English Wikipedia has a total of 2,907,296 articles out of which 2,532 are featured articles. So in short he printed 2,532 articles.

For the past few months we have come across several speculations and rumors regarding the upcoming iPhone from Apple, some speculations looked genuine but most of them were fake. Well, today I came across a diagram on The Green Room which represents iPhone rumors and several other anticipated features. You’ll see features marked by green, purple and orange. The features marked by green are most likely to be seen whereas the features marked by purple have a 50-80% chance and the ones marked by orange are most unlikely to be seen in the phone.

Copy Folder/ File Path on Right Click

CopyPath is an Explorer extension that adds the option- “Copy Path to Clipboard” to the context menu of directories and files. With this extension you can copy the full path to the Windows Clipboard easily. All you need to do is just right click on the particular file or folder and click “Copy Path to Clipboard”, that’s it! The path will be copied you can paste in explorer address bar.
