Today I would like to share with you two Firefox addons which will help you to save a lot of space while browsing. Sometimes when you open a lot of tabs it results in clutter on the top and you tend to get confused with the tabs. To solve this problem there’s an awesome addon- Tree Style Tab. Tree Style Tab displays tabs on the left, right top or bottom of your screen. Left side is much preferable though. The tabs are grouped and displayed in the form of tree view. For instance if you have two or three pages of a particular site open then those will be listed under one tab. This is a really good feature as it helps to avoid confusion.
Windows Movie Maker is one of the most widely used applications for creating and editing videos on Windows. Most of us rely on it for creating attractive videos from images, sound clips, etc. Sometimes it comes really handy to merge several video clips instantly. I had used it many times when we had to make small videos during ad analysis and marketing of a product in our college.
I’m sure Windows 7 users using Firefox aren’t happy as Firefox doesn’t show jumplists in Windows 7 taskbar. Jumplists form an important part in Windows 7, when a program is minimized it is shown as an icon in the taskbar. When the mouse is hovered over the icon, a jumplist is displayed which shows various options regarding the program concerned. For instance if you minimize Internet Explorer you should see an IE icon on the taskbar which when hovered over displays various options and open tabs in the form of a jumplist.
I have come across different types of fans but here’s one fan who’s crazy for sure. Woah! He has transformed his apartment into a Starship like the one in Star Trek. He also wears a Star Trek suit to make himself look like a Star Trek character.
Sometimes if you’re using a wireless connection you may experience lags. Lags are mainly caused due to the Wireless Zero Configuration in Windows XP and WLAN Auto Config in Windows Vista. It keeps looking for new wireless networks due to which these lags are caused. Such lags and connection problems are really annoying if you’re watching a video, playing a game or any other multimedia browsing over the web.
A guy on Chinese forums posted the specifications and a screenshot from what is claimed to be the next generation iPhone. Well, no idea about how true it is, but looks like it’s real as it’s not too extraordinary. If you have a look at the image below you’ll notice a new iPhone model number “MB717LL” with 32GB of Storage.
When it comes to docks most of us prefer Rocket Dock. I love Rocket dock for its features and its wide range of options to optimize the dock. But today I came across a cool dock- XWindows Dock which gives you a Mac like dock for Windows. It provides all graphics affects like reflections, transparency, shadow, blur, etc. Some of the cool features include stacking of folders and files within folders. It shows you the inner files in the form of a fan or grid. Well, this can be done is Rocket Dock too with the stacks addon.
Counter Strike has been one of my top favorites for a long time. It is the first game that I played online and on LAN in cyber. It’s very entertaining but quite addictive too. I have tried different versions of Counter Strike which include Counter Strike Source and Counter Strike Condition Zero. Well I don’t think I need to give a detailed description about this game, most of you gaming enthusiasts know about it really well.
