Hi. Joel..

In my case, I use Safe Mode when it becomes impossible to boot into my PC. ;).. So, booting in and then correcting something won't be good. However, a nice tip. Surely would be useful sometime.

I would like to add you a small tip, which it seems you missed out. I have tried it out on a few BIOS and it obiviously works.
You said
"""But unfortunately for some BIOS it shows boot options (hard disk, DVD rom, etc)."""

In a case where you get the boot options, all you need to do is Select Hard Disk and then continue pressing F8. The menu for selection the type of Boot (Normal, Safe Mode, etc.. ) appears.

You can select Safe Mode from there.
