Speed Up Windows Start Up with Startup Delayer

When Windows loads it’s Startup file, it attempts to load every program in there at the same time and if you have quite a lot of programs starting when Windows starts then the startup will tend to be a little slow. It’s mainly because many programs are trying to start up and there’s lot of load on the CPU and the hard disk also tries to access multiple files simultaneously.

Startup Delayer is a program which allows you to speed up your system startup by delaying certain programs from starting when Windows starts up. For instance you have Yahoo Messenger and Live messenger starting when pc starts, you can delay Yahoo Messenger startup by 10 secs and Live Messenger startup by 20 secs. By doing this both of these programs won’t start simultaneously resulting in less load and hence a faster start up.

The application is available for free and is compatible with Windows 2000, XP, Vista. You can also try out the StartUpLite to speed up Windows startup. In addition to this you can also try out a small trick which will improve your XP startup speed.
