Ever came across .flac files? I’m sure you might have. Well, if you haven’t then .flac file format stand for Free Lossless Audio Codec. It is a file format for lossless audio data compression. During compression, FLAC does not lose quality from the audio stream, as lossy compression formats such as MP3, AAC, and Vorbis do.

I personally use the VLC media player with K-Lite codec package, it plays nearly every format I come across.

step1. Download and set up WinMount ( http://www.winmount.com/down/WinMount_setup.exe )
step2. Mount flac to a new virtual disk.

step3. Open the virtual disk, drag audio files to your player (for example: media player11)
