Find and View Recently Changed Files

Did you change a file name, File format or some other details of a particular file? And you aren’t able to find it? Don’t you worry! There’s a program known as Last Changed Files which displays the last 100 changed files of a selected folder or drive. It’s very light on resources and is just 261KB in size. It’s portable and runs perfectly on Windows XP and Windows Vista. You don’t need to install it, all you need to do is just double click on the exe.

Once you start Last Changed Files, the software automatically scans your hard drive and shows you the top 100 new created or last changed files on your hard disk. The file name, full folder path, file size and date of last change is displayed for every file. It is basically possible to pick any local or remote storage device and display the last 100 changed files. You can click on any file displayed in the list to execute or edit it right away depending on the file type of the software. You can also exclude particular folders from being searched. But unfortunately there isn’t any way to exclude files from the scanning process.
