Sure, if you drag it back from "deleted items" it will now LOOK like it's a distribution list, but try and send an email.... You'll find that it doesn't send, just sits grayed out in the Outbox. No error message, because other emails are sending normally. You could go crazy and spend many hours trying to figure out the problem, unless you remember "ah, that's the one I undeleted. It must have come back from the Phantom Zone as a Bizarro distribution list." Then you can delete it again, create a new one, and retype or re-select all the members. All this for having hit "delete" to delete a single member. Est. repair time: 30 minutes (if you immediately get that undelete doesn't really work) to 12 hours. Microsoft 1, the rest of us 0.
