Want to install new apps in your iPhone/iPod but no Wi-Fi range or Wi-Fi modem? Here’s a small program- iGopher for Windows which will help you to install apps in your iPhone/iPod with an USB connection.

iGopher reads iPod Touch/iPhone repositories and shows the list of available applications. You can install the apps you like and build a local package from the PC. The package can be later transferred to your iPod/iPhone by an USB connection.
The program is in the alpha stage at the moment and doesn’t find right programs. For more info check out the iGopher webpage.
