Defragment individual files and folders with Defraggler

Defragmentation is very important as it increases access speed and sometimes even increases the amount of usable space by rearranging files stored on a disk. Most of us use the Disk Defragmenter in Windows to defragment drives. Unfortunately the default Windows defrag utility only allows you to defrag the whole drive/partition. You cannot defrag separate files and folder with this utility. Defragmenting the whole drive consumes a lot of time resulting in loss of productivity.

Defraggler is free program which allows you to defrag individual files and folders. Besides individual files and folders, you can also use defrag the whole drive. It is less than 1MB and can be copied to a flash drive and then used whenever you need it. It supports Windows 2000, Windows 2000, 2003, XP and Vista. For more features check the official site.
