Hidden files and folder can be made visible by going through the folder options and selecting View hidden folders and files. Now you will be able to see all the hidden files and folders. But do you know that there are super hidden files which aren’t shown when you enable this option? Well, if you didn’t know then here’s how you view them:
Viewing super hidden files/ folders in XP and vista:
Firstly, Go to start and type in regedit in the search box.(in Vista) In XP Go to Start> Run> Type regedit and hit enter.
Now in your Registry Editor you need to find the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\SuperHidden
Right click on the key and Select Modify.
Set the registry value to 1.
Click “OK” and reboot for changes to take effect.
thanx buddy for dis help………….
Cool! Maybe this will show the boot.ini and ntldr files
If the key doesn’t exist (it doesn’t always) you need to create it.
It should be a Hex DWORD, value of 0 keeps files hidden, value of 1 displays them.
