How To Open docx Files In Older Versions Of Microsoft Office

The newer versions of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Word have a new file format introduced in them. It’s known as .docx. This file format cannot be opened in older versions of Microsoft Office or Microsoft Word. Here’s a work around to open .docx documents in older versions of Microsoft Office or Microsoft Word.

If you already have older version of Microsoft Office, then you only need to install compatibility pack over existing install. After this install you will able to read docx files in pre-existing Microsoft Office install. You can download the compatibility pack from here.

HELP! I am on Bizzntech’s web site which I found thru ASK.com, looking for info on how to open docx files in older versions of microsoft office. I see an article title by Joel dated Jan 28, 2009, but can’t figure out how to look at the article. Clicking on the title hijacks me to a Nationwide insurance ad. Can anyone email me directly to tell me how to see the info? I don’t even see any way on bizzntech to look at all comments from other people. Thanks for any help!
