Sony BDUX10S Blu-ray Drive For Just $200
Sony recently announced a Blu-ray drive- BDU-X10S (reader only) for both PC and laptop which is priced just under $200. Considering the price tag I think its a great deal. The new BDU-X10S drive features a SATA interface, adding high-definition movie playback to your desktop or HTPC. The drive comes bundled with CyberLink’s PowerDVD BD Edition for playback of Blu-ray discs on your computer.
In addition to the Blu-ray movies, the player also supports discs burned in MPEG-2 or H.264 format, and standard DVD discs or recorded DVDs encoded with MPEG-2 or AVCHD formats. The drive is available for pre order now and will start shipping in February.
