Change The Look Of Your Vista Desktop

After using Vista for more than 10 months, I got a bit sick looking at the same old boring icons and same old style. I decided to do something different and eye candy. I changed the entire look of my desktop by changing apps, icons, and furnishing an entire new hot and sexy look. So here’s the thing what I got finally…

I used many applications and other customized stuff…

The applications used are:-
Object dock
Rocket dock
Axialis icon workshop

Other stuff
Some new vista gadgets
Customized icons
Hot wallpapers

This was another work which i did just before my final one, in which I had some icons on desktop as well…

Tips for doing some hot Desktops…

1> You can change the icons of your desktop folder by right clicking on desktop> Personalize> change desktop icons.

2> Get the app gadget from here which will enable you to launch stuff directly from the shortcuts pasted in it.

3> You can download the Rocket Dock which is the only Vista compatible Dock at present

4> You can also download object Dock which not only helps you to add one dock but several dock, due to which you’ll not really require Rocket dock.

5> You can get some wallpapers from here.

6> Last but not the least you can get the customized icons from Wincustomize

Have a nice time playing with your desktop.

Very nice article. I like the wallpaper on the first screenshot but I think the links to the wallpapers are broken. Anyway to fix that?
