LED Strobe Flashing Fishing Lure

Have you ever seen a fishing lure that glows? If not then here’s one. Now you might be wondering what use that light is for. The simple answer- it attracts fish.

How does this work?

The LED strobe flashing fishing lure has a red light that blinks, fishes mistake it for a bleeding fish and hence go to attack it. Well I don’t really know if fishes can see color but it’s for sure that they can see in black and white at least. According to Dr. Ellis Loew, a professor of physiology at Cornell University) studies have shown that many fish “have the necessary nervous system elements for color vision to be present”.

If you like this thing you can grab one at eBay for around $15-30.

well this is agreat led project, but then you may ask, does it work good? Is it worth it? Do fish see the blood, or do they scent it? This is a paramount question

Fish do see in color, in fact they see reds and greens much better than the human eye
