India Expecting A Tourist Inflow Of Around 10 million By 2010
India seems to have a good growth in tourism. Tourism has become popular in recent times and India seems to be a good target for Tourism. The country’s tourism sector was growing steadily with 3.92 million tourist inflow in 2005 and 4.43 million in 2006. It is estimated that the tourism sector will reach 5 million by 2007.
Acc. to Union Tourism Minister Ambika Soni,”India expects a tourist inflow of around 10 million in 2010 when it will host the Commonwealth Games”.
