According to a new study by Gartner- a global research and advisory firm, states that India will continue to be the next fastest growing wireless services market in the Asia pacific region after china.

This growth is mainly due to the fall in telecom tariffs of various providers and the introduction of affordable handsets with new schemes. Majority of this revenue will continue to come from voice services but with the increased growth in data services, the percentage of revenue coming from voice will reduce from 90% to 78% by 2011.
